We recommend a combination of vertical and horizontal vents. On hotter days, lower horizontal vents will intake relatively cooler air when there is sufficient venting above the horizontal (soffit, eave, continuous) and exhausts hot air from the attic through vertical gable and dormer vents.

Our retrofit kits and matrixes are available simply for existing installations where removal of current hardware is unrealistic. The Honeycomb Matrix along with the screen mesh (sold together) can be used in a variety of retro-fit applications.Inside the attic, behind existing gable and eave vents, the matrix can be cut to size and fastened to the existing 1/4" screen. Retrofits are as easy as 1, 2, 3.
